It’s been no secret that Media Molecule has planned to continue to support LittleBigPlanet through DLC in the form of new Sackboy costumes.  Until now, we had no idea how much they would cost or when they would be available.  Well, today we learned the first details of the Sackboy costumes on the Playstation.Blog. 

The first of the DLC will be available next week and will be free.  The first two costumes will be available for a limited time (available November 6 through November 19) and include an astronaut costume and a Halloween costume…on November 6…almost one week after Halloween.  In addition, it was revealed that more DLC would be made available that would:

not only enhance your SackBoy, but expand your Pop-it tool with more objects, materials, stickers, sounds, music and even gameplay enhancements to keep the community refreshed with more creative options.

However, not all of the costumes will be free as it was revealed that individual costumes will range in price anywhere from $.99 to $1.99 (similar to the PAIN model for DLC) to “$?.??”.  It was also revealed that there would be multiple costume packs that would include 4 costumes and would come at a reduced price.
