After much waiting Plants vs. Zombies is finally coming to Xbox Live Arcade. The critically-acclaimed tower defense game has been available on multiple platforms such as PC, Mac and iPhone but today PopCap announced that the game is finally arriving on home consoles.
If that wasn’t enough to get you excited it also looks like console gamers are going to receive the definitive version of the game. The XBLA version will contain seven game modes including all new versus and co-op modes. The game will include all 50 levels from the original plus 21 mini games, more than any previous version. They are also adding a social feature where you create a custom house that allows you to track you progress and also show off to your friends.
Plants vs. Zombies will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade in early September for the price of 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). The game is also coming to retail stores in a special PopCap bundle for $19.99 which will contain Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle and Zuma. This bundle is expected to hit store shelves later this fall.
