Nintendo has confirmed that Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 will be releasing in North America this fall.

The confirmation came through a short press release which stated that the games will be coming “to the Nintendo DS family of systems.” No information was released clarifying if there will be actual 3DS versions of the games and what exactly does “Version 2″ mean. Will these be actual sequels or just brand new, enhanced versions of the original games? There is still a lot that Nintendo needs to announce in the future.

Continue after the break for the full press release.
