RG3 Adds Video Game Cover Athlete to Resume

EA has announced that former Baylor University Quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III will be the cover athlete for NCAA Football 13.

Griffin will be joined by another former Heisman Trophy winner determined by a public vote over Facebook that begins March 12. The candidates include:

former USC running back Marcus Allen
former Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie
former Ohio State running back Eddie George
former Michigan wide receiver Desmond Howard
former Oklahoma State University running back Barry Sanders
former Georgia running back Herschel Walker
former Florida State quarterback Charlie Ward
former University of Houston quarterback Andre Ware

NCAA Football 13 is scheduled to be released on July 10 for XBOX 360 and PS3.
