Ok, maybe I’m not so sexy, but you’ve got to admit, it’s a catchy nickname. Allow me to introduce myself after the jump.

Hi, I’m Mike. I have been the writer/editor of The Sexy Geek’s House of Swag for almost 2 years over on Blogspot. I’m honored to be able to join the team here at Talking About Games. JVB has been a close friend for almost 30 years and when he asked me to join, I was a bit nervous as I don’t blog about video games at all. But, after talking to him a bit, I was convinced that TAG would be a good place for me and I hope I prove worthy of my spot here. I’d also like to thank TG1Eddie and Solider X for expressing their confidence as well.

This will be a different blog. In this space, I will blog about toys, comics and other pop culture topics. From time to time, I may even show off pieces from my personal collection as well as toy hauls. It might be a different blog then what is usually on here, but I’m pretty sure you guys will like reading it.

A little bit about me: I am a collector, plain and simple. I collect superheroes, especially Spider-Man, Batman and Iron Man. I also collect The Beatles, KISS, The Monkees (stop laughing), Back To The Future and Star Wars, especially Luke Skywalker. I do have a sports collection as I am a huge Yankees, Jets and Knicks fan, but I won’t really discuss that part of my collection here. I do love the vintage stuff, so look for blogs about some vintage pieces as well as some of the newer releases.

I hope everyone likes this blog. I really like writing it and appreciate all comments left on here. I will try to post at least once a week so please keep your eyes out for each post.
