On Sunday Oct 14, at 9PM EST,  AMC is set to premier Season 3 of The Walking Dead. So grab your favorite weapon and get ready to smash some walkers with me after the jump.

I am late to the Walking Dead bandwagon, I actually watched both seasons on Netflix this past summer. The show is great, it has a deep story and well designed characters. The zombies are terrifying at times and not knowing what will happen next is almost torture.

The basic premise is that human civilization is at its end, so how will characters in this world act in a society with no rules or order. As characters become more immersed in this new dangerous world, they find out that the zombies are the least of their problems.

This show has been able to capitalize on mass zombie appeal. After countless video games, books, and movies, this TV series has finally made the term Zombie as American as Apple products, err I meant pie. Also it’s not available on DISH.
