Fallout 3 is the most recent (duh), but it doesn't need to be the new one, it can be the old classic ones. Discuss tactics, weapons, etc.

I would still like to catch up on Fallout 3's story even though I don't have it any more.

I find that being the extremes (totally bad, totally good) also provide a different gameplay and/or story line experience like Mass Effect. BTW, I love fallout 1 & 2 and maybe even Tactics even though it didn't have the same quality level storyline or gameplay. I haven't played the DLCs for fallout 3 but I will eventually so everybody keep on the "reviews" about them.

Got a question...I'm planning on getting the Fallout 3 GotY. When I put it in, will it automatically update everything to that edition? Or will it need to be installed separately? Cuz I do kinda want to see the original ending before continuing onto the expansion.

I'm afraid I won't be too active here until the Game of the Year edition releases. I only rented it initially, but Fallout 3 has my personal vote for the Game of the Year.

One thing with the new Broken Steel, don't put the FEV in the thing, it makes you die if you drink the water.

When Fallout 3 came out, I was still in deep w/ Oblivion, but as I heard more bout Fallout 3, I started 2 get in2 it more. So far, I've just been renting it & doin as much as I can(which is definitely not how I'd suggest others try it). But what I'd like 2 kno is this...I bought Oblivion & it came w/ all the expansions on the disc. The only thing that's really been keeping me from buying Fallout 3 is just that. After they've released all the expansions, is there any reason 2 think they wouldn't release a Fallout package that comes w/ the game & all 4(or however many they come out w/)?
I'm no expert yet, but would really like 2 get more involved w/ it.

Broken Steel looks very awsome. The new weapons look cool and the level cap being expanded. The new location will be interesting aswell.
