PSPGo+Blu Tooth Tech=PSP2?
No one complained about the PSP's Proccessing power, lets face it, the PSP is a hand held console in this regard. The only issue that most had with it was its lack of a second analog stick! Well it looks like Sony has kinda found a way around that with the PSPGo. We saw a hinting of it with the release of Resistance Retribution earlier this year, with its Infection mode. When connected to the PS3 the game unlocked new functionality, including playing the with a Sixaxis and yes, using the second analog stick! Well, along came the PSPGo with "Blu Tooth Technology" now we can connect our PS3 controllers and play any PSP game. That said, None of the PSP games work with the second analog stick......Yet.

Modern Warfare 2
Game of the year contender, Most anticipated game of 09, a polish that is only rivaled by Uncharted2. All to true and from many perspectives, best game of all time! To be honest MW2 was never really on my radar. Hits a bit to close to home for my tastes, but on a whim I gave it a shot.

Help the Home Team Fight Breast Cancer
The PlayStation Home Breast Cancer Awareness Event TIME: November 5th, 11:59 pM EST PLACE: EA Sports Club Fight Night WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Pink Drew Brees Jersey Located In The EA Sports Section of The Original Threads Store In The Home Mall
OK everybody, at the time of this writing it is now October 30th, 2009. What does that mean? Well, it means that you only have 12 more days left to grab your limited edition, Pink Drew Brees Jerseys in Home. In case you're new and don't know what I'm talking about, this limited edition jersey costs $2.00 in Home and not only does it look mighty spiffy, but 100% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of these jerseys go to the Brees Dreems Breast Cancer Foundation and on top of that you'll recieve the upcoming EA Sports DJ equipment for free by entering an EA Poker Space with the jersey on the day of the event. Let's make a monumental difference for those out there who obviously didn't choose to have this terrible disease and have to deal with it day after day. If you don't have a jersey already, snag one! And for those of you who may already own a jersey, why not purchase another for your avatar's male/female counterpart?
And of course, here are the details. We'll all be meeting at EA Sports Club Fight Night Space on Thursday, November 5th at 11:59 AM EST, just make sure you're wearing your Pink Brees Jersey. No versus, no contests, just a whole lotta' Home users getting together to help support and promote a good cause. The event is being hosted by Gamer Indepth and you can easily hop into the main instance by adding Gamer_Indepth on the PSN and following them, however the event won't just be restricted to that instance as I'll be hopping around to several instances snagging photos (Lots of photo ops!) and tossing out shout outs to those I see on the Gamer Indepth podcast and yes, I will make a valiant attempt to throw a shout out to EVERYONE I see wearing the jerseys that night. Also, if you're a club owner, please try and spread the news throughout your clubs. I'll try and get a shoutout for any clubs supproting the event as well. Why not cement yourself in Home history as an atendee of one of the most awesome events to hit PlayStation Home? I know there are quite a few of you from the forums on my friends list, so by all means get to some of the more populated instances through your friends if possible as I'm going to be sending out invites to most of he individuals on my friends list. I might even list those who I plan to invite on my list so you guys might be able to just follow them. Hope to see you all in Home!
easdRob has confirmed that he will be attending! Link and hats of to NJShadow for this Fine write up! |
