I know there has been people on this site complaining about a "lack" of game nights...but then when there is a game night there isnt a single person that joins sometimes. Now my real question is..if you want a game night and complain about not having them and someone goes out of their way to make one for you and you dont join..why dont you join them? if your not gonna join then stop complaining so the person making these game nights isnt wasting his time.

simple...ps3 online service is sh*t.

the only multi-games I would want to play and currently own on the pS3 are games not available on the 360 and I can count those games on 1 hand

Connecting to friends on the 360 is fast and easy the Ps3 needds to rework their friends list system as scrolling up and down on the xmb is stupid...I need to know how many friends are online and waht they are playing quickly.

Ohh and the message system sucks also..you never know if you have a new message if your system has been off and the interface for writing a message is clunky and needs to be streamlined...

as far as game nights on the Ps3 they will always be empty. having a ps3 game night is like having an original xbox game night.you can schedule it..but their is no interest.

and if members are complaining about not having ps3 game nights and then not showing up it goes to show the quality of players they are...Ps3 owners are just a bunch of no shows.

now i dont own a ps3 and if i ever do it will only be because its the cheapest bluray player ot there. now im not gonna say that all ps3 owners are a bunch of noshows..lol..cause i know people do the same thing with the 360 too. But im sure the ps3 will come into its own or it will just rip microsoft off and copy what they have done.

It is because of such sabotage that they don't join the gaming nights, all other sites that i visit have very active gaming night for both consoles, most of the time the PS3 is being bashed indirectly on this site, and no one can say that that isn't true. I hear there are no games on it, when i go to the store i wonder where all the games i see came from since there aren't any good games. PS3 gamers know that what this site say sometimes is never what they do. To be honest it is sad but true. Some say the online sucks, how can u say that when you can play 40 player games on resistance with 0 lag, 32 on warhawk with no lag, those 2 games right there are excelent, with dedicated servers. Call of duty 4 works great and in my opinion it works better on the PS3 and i think that everyone here agree that it is better then halo 3 as much as i like that game. Honestly the only reason i like this site is the podcast and the opinions of people like JAY, PARIS and JVB, although not always correct but very wise none the less. The community part is not as united as it claims to be. well thats my take, if you want to add me i got both current gen systems

I don't own an PS3 either...but I do hear that getting a group of friends in the same room is a pain.

If it's not, please by all means someone correct me.

I think the major point is not getting trhough to people is that with the combination of the two sites, more AJ people came over here then UG people. AJ is a 360 community. So of course there are more 360 owners then PS3 owners.

As far as the PS3 bashing goes...people are going to be loyal to their home console. It's a simple fact. Sony people are going to proudly say how the PS3 is better then the Xbox, and Xbox people will do the same.

Now as far as the community stuff goes...we are trying to get the PS3 people involved. They just don't want to be it seems. Where is the justification to have 4 PS3 game nights a week when we can't even get more then 4 people to show up to one?

On a more postivie note, how can we get the PS3 game nights and gaming community to take off? What do you all want out of your game nights...different day and time? What will make you sign up for a PS3 game night?

Ok so this WILL be the first and last time stating this I set up a warhawk room on saturday for the ps3 community and NO ONE showed up. So again since I said there is gonna be a playstation game night every week then this saturday going with tradition GTA 4 will be the game night for this weekend. And I would LOVE to see everyone sign up and actually join this time

The calendar needs to get the ok for sign ups. However, this game night isn't on the calendar at all. I hope there should be a post about it, so try signing up there.
