When I finished halo 2 I was amazed how halo had evolved now we’ve gone next gen what’s new and what’s going to happen when you do finally finish the fight?
Don’t worry I’m not about to give it away but the story line is gripping as usual from start to finish. Halo 3 starts where halo 2 left off so no “6 months later” rubbish.
But having said Halo 3 looks a little, little bit last gen!! And it appears to be like halo 2 but when you examine the game in detail you soon become to understand its not the detail of environment is vastly improved. The game runs like a dream no slow down until save points.
Halo 3 boots some new weapons and the quad bike (which for tech issues didn’t make halo2) are welcome like the old trusty assault rifle Online we have new maps sandpit is so cool….a updated the matchmaking system is truly innovated and so far appears to work. Now you can download a whole video of your last 25 matches so all you budding generals out can see where your offence\defence failed!!
Good bits:
Its Halo 3
xbox live the best yet
The forge - change map settings
download up load files
Bungie stats web site
Online - will be playing this for years
Bad bits:
A little short
Melee sends bodies a little bit too far, LOL
Halo 3 is a master of all FPS and the benchmark is there for all to beat it but the standard is so high some lesser game makers will not even come close.
So thanks Bungie for bring us the best of what xbox gaming can give us, so what next? Halo: Podtac Edition? (PLEASE?)
Yeah Halo 3. for me, is better (but not by much) than COD4 mostly because, while COD4 is a new thing, Halo 3 is ever evolving with Forge and custom games. The introduction of the file sharing features hes out a lot because it is very easy to share your creations with the world.
Good job on the review. I don't understand why people like COD4 better than Halo 3. And I was wondering if you were the same yeti from podtacular until i saw PODTAC EDITION. Nice.

OK, so Rush's album isn't here yet, and frankly, we're just as disappointed as you. Settling for a cover version of Tom Sawyer is doing little to improve our moods, but thankfully,... - Full Story
