Turning Point : Fall of Liberty (PS3) Review 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
"Turning Point : Fall of Liberty" is set in an alternate universe in which the United States remains an isolationist state during WWII and most of the rest of the world falls to the Nazi war machine. Set in the 1950s, the United States is invaded by Germany and you play as a construction worker in New York caught up in these extraordinary events. As a fan of alternate history, I was immediately interested in this title and acquired it from Goozex a short time ago. I'm sad to report I started playing this title last night and after a few hours of gameplay I'm seriously considering putting it in my Goozex queue.

The graphics are hardly next generation and the aiming/movement is more than a bit frustrating. In addition, there are frame rate issues here and there. The entire game feels unfinished and unpolished. I completed the New York campaign last night with a general feeling of "meh".

Since my 360 is on its way to Texas for a vacation, I will probably give TP:FOL another shot or two. However, if you are looking for a quality FPS in an alternate universe, I would look elsewhere.

My "official" rating is: "Goozex that sumbitch"

Yea I played and finished this game for the 360...(Achievement Points) so I had a valid (atleast for me) reason to finish it..But as the Ps3 version doesn't have trophies ...yet...there is no reason to play this crap of a game... the hit detection sucks in this game...BIGTIME!
