Chappelle is a comical genius!
BUT!
I have purchased tickets to two of his live shows. The first tickets were $50 a piece. I purchased two and he no showed. Lost money.
Second show tickets were $100 a piece. I purchased two and Dave sat on stag drinking and until he said, "All I have to do is sit her and drink and I still get paid". People started hackeling him, and all he would do is say, "Yeah, your momma!".
A total of $300 wasted on a POS. I still think he is halarious on tv, but I will never go, even for free, to see him again.
<edit> Both shows were scheduled at the Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC. Plus, Chappelle was going to party at Time Lounge (connected to Comedy Zone), so Time said they were having the official after party. Chappelle sued the bar, because he ever stated it was "official". Sad that someone so funny can be that shi**y of a person.

Dave is a good actor his show make you laugh i never went to the show live i like all the episodes and i really enjoy it the dvd cost 45 dollars.I will not get it.

you only have to go back and watch Chapelle show to know how bad the crap they have on there is now. there is a hell of a lot of difference between someone like Chapelle was great, and someone like Mencia who thinks he's a lot better than he actually is.

lol no one will ever replace Dave Chappelle. In my opinion he's the funniest commedian living, I wish he'd come back. Every once in a while I find myself watching either my season one or two dvd's... ahh the good 'ol days.

Nobody can replace Chappelle. His Rick James, Clayton Bigsby, Samuel Jackson (downloaded it on the marketplace) and the Law and Order ones are off the wall. Remember last year when he did the 'Lost Episodes'? Those weren't very funny.
Carlos Mencia is not even Mexican to top it all off. That is not his real name either.
