It's not just about the specific platforms. Talk about general gaming items here!

ComiCon vs. E3 1 Month ago
I listen to a handful of gaming podcasts and read a few different gaming sites as I know many of you do. Is it just me or does it seem that overall the press is getting more hands on time with (and generally seeming more excited about) the games at ComiCon than E3. I know comicon is a public event and has a lot more spectacle to offer. The way E3 is now I would probably rather attend comicon myself. It's just strange that an event that isn't even designated to gaming seems to be doing a better job of giving the press what they want. Anybody else noticing this or am I making stuff up here.

I think ComiCon is better suited to the job than E3. weird, I know. Seems like the gaming community is growing more comerical (EA, h-e-l-l-o?). Comics are about true fan base. See, told you it was weird. I'd like to go to comicon too. maybe next year I can talk the wife into a vacation.

Thats the problem I guess, everything that made this a nerdy subculture is becoming mainstream. I wanna be an outcast again dammit! Tell the soccer moms to give me my games back

You could always start LARPing.
