Flip, I guess I think it was a badly timed joke. Considering all the tension that was on the site when you said that, it was hard to tell who was actually mad, who was hurt, and who was trying to fix the problem. No hard feelings, though.

Man, slow day today. I don't even feel like gaming for some odd reason. Maybe do to Wii Woes. I want to like the system, but also don't want to open any games as I can't get my money back.

Good times with Shadowrun last night! For those who are wondering, in the game parties thread Shadowrun was listed as having an 11PM EST start time. I did notice the "Sign Up For Game Nights" box on the right hand of the screen does not give the time zone. Tanz, could that be included in the future to avoid confusion?

No lazy Sunday for me. Walked over to Blockbuster to exchange Super Mario Galaxy as the Wii is going back to Wal-mart tomorrow. Still couldn't get into the controls. Plus I think I've outgrown Nintendo products after this little venture.

Picked up Shadowrun (but it's scratched and can't play - damnit! I got it with Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements. I liked the demo for some reason and everything is at 25% off right now, so it was $15. Shadowrun was $13 so I have enough left to put toward Ninja Gaiden II next month. I'll go back tomorrow to get a working copy of Shadowrun.

Here's an odd question: does it bother you to buy a used game to find no manual? That's something that irks me for some reason as I feel the package is incomplete.

Most of the time when I buy a used game (and lots of the games I buy are used) they don't have manuals. I don't mind. But I have got into the habit of asking to see the actual disc before I purchase a used game... to avoid what just happened to you.

25% off at Blockbuster, eh? I might have to check that out. Unfortunately, there's no Blockbuster close to me so it's not a store I go to regularly.

EST time, thanks I got it..no to devise a plan to get out of work earlier as I live in CA and when I get out from work at 8pm it's game on time here at TAG..hmmm maybe a time machine.

I almost always buy used, and almost always ask to see the disc. Even if the store has a guarantee that it'll play, I'd rather not be bothered with a return trip.

No lazy weekend for me; our 'welcome the new baby' party was on Saturday, so we had 25+ friends and family over to our house. Then, today (Sunday) is mother's day and so 16 of us went out for brunch and now the core contingent of 8 or so is back at my place.

Today was unwrap and paint the boat day. At least it was 60 degrees out!

Sleepy now.

Glad Fester is re-buying the disc again.

But yeah, if I show up next Friday, it'll probably be around the same time, maybe a half hour earlier or so.

Finally beat GTA, got the Liberty City Minute Achievement by like 8 mins, kinda proud of that. Back to finishing me season on MLB 2k8.. Hope everyone is doin alright
