Looks kind of quiet this morning. Not much going on here. Took one of our dogs in to be groomed today...it's not too good when your golden retriever starts having dreds in its tail

I hooked up with Zoyd last night on Shadowrun, looking to get some practice in for Friday. It is clear that there are quite a few people still playing that game and they have been playing it for quite a while. I eralized this after getting crushed the first two games with zero kills.

Given the relative success of Shadowrun last Friday and presuming we have another good turnout this Friday, I wonder if the FNF focus on older or "throwback" games. I'm thinking either games most people still have or those that are cheap enough ($10-$20) so people could get them easily enough (ex: COD2, PDZ, Quake 4). Please let me know your opinions on this matter.

I agree Bio. I just picked up COD2 via Goozex for pretty cheap (points-wise) and have seen PDZ and Q4 selling pretty low price-wise at the store. I like the idea of going back to some of these "Oldies But Goodies"...especially since I haven't played a lot of them.

By the way, how's your new flooring?

Call of Duty 2 I might look into. PDZ I'm a little biased about as that wasn't a great game and it killed my first Xbox 360. If we do this throwback stuff, I'd better start keeping every game I buy.

I think I might go out and pick up a copy of Shadowrun.

I still have the PC copy I can't use because I don't have the money to beef up my graphics card. At this point, if anyone wants it...just pay for shipping and it's yours.

I'm IN on the throwback nights.....I have COD2, COD3, Quake4, and many of the other ones we'd play, so I think it'd be a great thing for the revamped FNF.....which I think we're sorely missing....last week was awesome!!

Does that mean we get to pwn you on Live more often Pher? Doesn't anyone play Halo 3 anymore. There are some serious whacked out fun game variants out there.

I think there are games that will always be popular for throwback (COD2, COD4, Halo 3, etc. etc.), but there may be other games that can be sold without problems (Army of Two, Stranglehold, Turok).

I think I cam compile a basis list of what people have by going through friends lists. I'll start that process on Friday as I will be home again for the installation of new stairs.

I would be down with some throwback games...have tog pick them up orput them on top of my gamefly Q. I think we should have a halo 3 night tonight..as a matter of fact im gonna go post a sign up post for it, so if ya wanna play let me know and ill add ya.

I traded in Vegas 2 and picked up Shadow Run and Ultimate Alliance. I also put a pre-order for Fable 2...I'm excited for this game.

I'm down if we play some SR.

yeah, probably the right choice burt.....even though it's a decent fighting game, with totally hot computerized chicks, if bio hadn't been so gracious in sending me my copy, I'm pretty sure I'd have passed on RR.....
