Oh, theres a trailer for the new Marvel: UA 2? I haven't seen it, yet. I've just seen an article and screen shots in a magazine. I like the idea of making power combos with two different characters. Very cool!

Morning . I'm taking a pass on SCIV, though I'll probably Gamefly it at some point. Still playing Final Fantasy IV DS...and yeah, it's a lot harder. I've been wiped out a few times by random enemy encounters, and some of the bosses that used to be a cakewalk aren't anymore.

On the advice of a friend, I finally put in Persona 3 FES last night. Seems a tad complicated, but I'm sure I'll adjust.

Yeah I am loving my new car. This is the first time I have ever been able to buy a new one so it was a pretty big moment.

Brillig, sorry to hear that NGII stopped being fun. Zedonius is a bastard. When (or if) you go back to it, stick close to him and use medium to fast weapon, like the dragon sword or lunar staff. Also, and everyone forgets this, use ninpo. It makes you invulnerable for a few moments so if it looks like he's building up to something, fire off some fire ninpo. Also, use your ninpo if he happens to spawn some enemies. He doesn't do this often but when he does it's best to simply use ninpo and not worry about them.

Van and Nev, congrats on the car!

Pher, I loaded up N+ again last night in preparation for out co-op extravaganza. I'd forgotten how frustrating some of those levels can be. It requires Ninja Gaiden-like precision and speed... and it's just as unforgiving. Good times.

I think I'm going to get SCIV today. I have been excited to beat some people down as Yoda. I watched SW: Episode III in preperation for it.

I'm pretty sure Van's buying Soul Caliber today, but it's not my kind of came. I'll end up watching him play as I read. Right now I'm obssessed with these "Twilight" series of books. So good. I mean, they're complete trash but they've fun to read!

Hey everyone! So I got Soul Calibur IV today so that leaves Van and Rburt as potential vict-people who will kick my ass online.

Nev, I'm sure you'll check out that Twilight movie when it comes out. Oh, and bad news on Too Human. Co-op is online only, no local so you'd have to buy two copies. I think I'm going to pass on it for now.

Van, congrats on the new car. I saw the pic on Manicdote - very nice.

Shoulder's feeling a lot better, though I'm still in a sling. I go to see the orthopedist again on Friday to get reevaluated. If all goes well, I'll be able to start rehab then. The doc's treating it as a first time dislocation (technically I've had two sublexations over the last ten years prior) so it should mean no surgery.

Nev/Van: Grats on the new car. I've been a position to buy a new car twice. Always fun. Saw the Trailer for M:UA2. Liked seeing Hulk doing a Fastball special with Wolverine. No Joy on SCIV. Not my type of game.

All: got the DLC for puzzle quest. Completed Game again. and speaking of gamer whoring, I finally achieved Leet status in RSV2. w00t!

Okay, what the fuck! I don't mind advertisements on websites (I've gotten used to them) but when a site actually reorganizes itself in order to accommodate the ads, I get pissed! Now, instead of the nice little login button on every TAG page, I'm looking at ads.


Mongo... how is the Puzzle Quest DLC? I heard about it, but with a sequel of sorts in the works I was thinking I'd pass on it. Is it worth the cash?

Puzzle Quest DLC is 700MSP.

IMO, it's over priced. Would have been better at 400 or 500 MSP It took me a day or so to pick up the extra 50GS from it, but it doesn't really tell you where to go to start the extra quests. Overall, you can pass on the DLC. If you like the game, the it adds maybe another 5 hours to the game.

I see. No gameplay changes? Just same old, same old? I'll probably just pass, then.

Ah, crap. I was all set to be snarky and make a comment about how there's this great site called "Talking About Games" and you should really check it out because it has had a trailer for Marvel:UA2 on the front page for a while, but I went to go look at the video to grab the link and not only do I not see it, but now I'm questioning my own sanity and whether it was ever there in the first place.

Zoyd - I haven't given up on NG2; I'm just taking a breather. I didn't want it to become not fun.
