There are so many games right now. It's crazy. BMan...give it a while and pick up Too Human when prices come down. It's not worth the $60.

Although I recommend Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars 2 and Braid. Great choices, hours of gameplay and replayablitiy.

I was thinking of checking out Geometry Wars 2 but it didn't seem like much of an improvement on the first one. And since I still don't have a single achievement for that game, I thought I'd pass.

Have to agree with Zoyd regarding demos as I totally get a feel for what will be a rent or a purchase. After playing TFU demo, I just didn't get a good impression of it. I would describe it as God of Star Wars. Those stupid quick-time events ruined it for me. Not to mention I think Lucas was a fluke success. Good businessman, bad storyteller (excellent at conceptualizing). That's why I bought Too Human as it's a different twist on Norse Mythology and I'm getting tired of Star Wars. So glad I skipped on The Clone Wars at the theatre.

There are so many games coming out in September I went with a one month Blockbuster game pass. I rented Tiger Woods 09 and glad I did as I actually prefer Hot Shots Golf Open Tee 2 for the PSP (TW09 is for serious golfers). Maybe I'll try for Tales of Vesperia today and Mercenaries 2 next week.

I do think Geo Wars 2 is worth getting...I've gotten half of the achievments for it, so I don't think you'll have any trouble with it at all, Zoyd. However I didn't play the first one, so I don't really have a basis for comparison.

And for those who enjoy poop humor, Blue Dragon is a good time...it's the only RPG I've ever seen that lets you kill poo snakes .

Blergh. I just couldn't get into Blue Dragon. I'm still surprised that I got through Lost Odyssey. I don't normally do the whole JRPG thing. Even Crisis Core leaves me a little nonplussed. It's still kicking around in my PSP but it certainly doesn't get me excited.


You see, most of the time I don't like poop humour. At least not when it's a lowest common denominator thing. But when it's so completely random and strange, I can dig it. It took me so completely by surprise in Castle Crashers that I just had to laugh.

I'm doing a Heroes Season Two marathon this weekend. I hadn't seen last season so I had some rental coupons to use so I got them cheaper. I never rent if I can't get something extra out of it. Hmm... that could be mis-interpreted. Though the female employees at my local Blockbuster are kind of cute if you're the creepy old guys that like high school girls. Like some Japaneses guys I guess. Speaking of Japan, I rented Tales of Vespira so we'll see how that goes. I think this post went full circle.

Yes AP I am going to have to pick up Tales of Vesperia, really enjoyed Eternal Sonata, not the part of 135 Achievements, but the game was good. Shot I like any RPG, I'm even enjoying Spectral Force 3, which is slightly better than Operation Darkness. You know when you play crappy games, the great games seem soo much better.
