Why do I have the feeling you typed something some would consider to be "brutal" and edited it to read "no comment"?

Hey everyone, just dropping in before I leave for the weekend...my friend's brother does have a 360, but alas there still won't be any Shadowrun. It'll probably be just me trying to get some co-op achievements in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith before I send it back to Gamefly.

Just checking in and hope everyone's having a good weekend.

Hey guys, just wanted to jump in and see how everything in the TAG world is going. My laptop crashed so I don't have much access to a computer now. I also don't have the harddrive backed up, so im going to lose 15-20GB worth of music, 30GB of DVD's and videos, ALL of my pictures, files, documents, everything. =( =( =( Damn internet hackers putting Trojans on my computer...and since I am paying back half of my PS3 right now, I don't have the money for a new computer, so I'm just SOL. On top of that, my ex-girlfriend just played me for everything im worth, one of my best friends is super super depressed, and a multitude of other things I'm not going to waste anyones time with.

Hope life is treating you all a little better then it is me at the moment. Oh well, live and let live. It will all work itself out eventually.

wow...that sucks. Sorry to hear about all the drama in you're world, HH. I know this is going sound petty, but from my perspective, it cant be that bad. You still have your job.

lol, yeah well, it got a little better today. i went to my dad with my laptop, and he worked on it for 3 hours and somehow or another has it back in full working ocndition!

Well that's a light in a storming sea of woes. My suggestion to you now is to backup all you can and take precautions with virus and spyware software. You can't be too careful with your digital stuff.

Yeah, I am going out tomorrow for an external HDD to backup EVERYTHING. I also got a corporate version of Symantec (sp) anti-virus and am downloading Spybot and a couple of other things that have been recommended to me.

I'm not overly worried about things right now. With the choas in the markets and everything else, I'm treating this as an extended vacation. I think my trip to PAX was the first extended personal trip I've taken in along time.

And as I tell everyone else, "bears don't always land on their feet, but they bounce really well".

BTW: Dead Space comes out this week. Anyone else going to get it?

Even with my restriced cash flow, I'm planning to get it. Got to "demo" it at PAX...OMG Becky!!! You may see me on XBL, because of it.

I think I'm going to rent Dead Space. But since im already buying Socom this week and then next week really kicks off me going broke with Fable II and LBP. So many games, so little time. I don't know what to do.

I'm all over Dead Space. This and Fallout 3 are the only things on my radar for the moment.

I wish those were the only games on mine.

Regarding Dead Space, have you guys been downloading the animated comics on XBLM? Really good stuff there. Plus, there's an animated movie prequel to Dead Space coming to DVD soon that looks really gory.
