I know you people across the pond don`t have this yet,but people who do have it..What do you think?
When the demo came to marketplace,i downloaded and thinked "Civ on console..fail"
But holy crap i was wrong,i played the demo to death and bought the game when it came out.

Im not huge into micromanagment games,but this really was something good.
I still play on easiest difficulty because i want to master the game,i havent tried multiplayer because i know i would get stomped.

Civpedia(?) is awesome and has so much information,i just love reading all that information from VIDEO GAME!
Im never been civ fan,so i would recommend everyone least try this

So im hoping people on my FR buy this so i could get into some good friendly matches going on.

For people who got this,what do you think about this?
For people who dont have this,what did you think about the demo and/or are you going to buy this?

Are you in the US? I didn't think it was out until the 12th or something like that. *runs to store*

majorbromly probably does not know what side of the pond you live on Tapio. Maybe not even sure what side he is on J/k
But the NA release is still on for July 8th and it can't come soon enough. The Demo is not cutting it any more.

I really enjoy the Civ games, Civ Revolution is going to be great, but I will miss all the extra stuff. I enjoyed the 50 plus hours of attempting to dominate the world, but with Civ Revolution I think that time going to be cut down. Still there will be many hours of multiple play throughs and online should be a blast.

The civpedia is something I forgot to mention in my review its done quiet well, short, sweet and fast. The games are about 3-4 hours i lenght, but it makes up for it in repeatability.

Anyone who has it already, send me a PM for a game.

We have an interview with the producer of the game on UG ep 84. The game launches in North America July 8th and Im always down for multiplayer game.

I haven't got it because i thought if it wasn't out in the us it certainly wouldn't be out in the uk but which is weird lol but i think i may go download the demo now

Anyway,it`s been out here for few weeks and really worth checking out.
Also the game is really..REALLY addictive.
Fact that games usually last 3-4 hours,i always play them on 1 sitting

We have to get some good multiplayer matches set up once its out...Yeah, I've worn that demo out!! I CANT WAIT to see how the multiplayer will work.

There is nothing to play now and it makes waiting for this game to come out even worse. I got desperate and bought GRID....aaarrgg...not a good decision...I will be trading it for Civ.

Did I mention I can't wait for Civ to come out...

i finally had a chance to D/L and try out the demo last night. after getting through the nuance of controls i realized i was over an hour into playing a freaking demo. i'm hooked i don't know if i'll pick it up day one but i'm looking forward to going back home tonight and playing the demo again. here comes another year of not being able to afford all the games i want to play.

This game is awesome! I have no idea why I like it, but I really do. I got so pissed the first time I played the demo when it stopped me at 1250 AD.

[file] The Civ demo is great! I sat down to play it one afternoon, the next thing I know its 1am. I Hate to think what it will be like when the whole game is playable. :D

It would be pretty cool if the guys with the full retail version would/could elaborate on the MP options. How many, what are they, have you tried them, etc....

I'm a little concerned about how the MP will go. How chat works and how customizable the game types will be. It just seems like so much fun based on the demo that I'm fearful of a letdown after I buy it....cause, oh yeah, I'll be getting it - day one!!

Plus I'm trying to talk some of my buds into getting it, but if the MP is lacking they may...uh, say a few choice words about me and my game recommendations.

IGN just posted a review and they talk specifically about chat functionality in MP. and from the sound of MP there's either free for all or teams. 4 player MP. but they were mentioning somethign to the effect of backstabbing your own team with the chat features because there's a private chat in game much like the private chat in the dashboard. i played the demo again last night and i think this game is gonna be a must buy next week.

I tried the demo and I'm going to pick it up. First Civ game I've actually played, too.

i am going to pick up this game because, as far as i can tell this looks to be the best Civ yet.

I also look forward to the MP part of the game.

Not sure when it is hitting Asia but I will definitely be buying it.
