HBO's Generation Kill? 2 Months, 4 Weeks ago  
Did anyone see this show last night on HBO? Being a Former Marine I thought they did a great job ,so far.Life as a Marine is just like that.It's a 7 part mini-series you all should check this out.Gives you an idea of what our fine troops are doing over there.

It looks grea but I dont have HBO. Im sure I would appreciate it my dad has been their 3 going on 4 times this september. Msn I wish I had HBO.

I have only watched the first episode...I thought it was excellent...it is written/done by the guy that did the wire. So IMO it will be very well written/produced/and shot tv show.

I never miss an episode. David Simon is a genius. Objectionable, honest, and eye-opening. I absolutly appriciated The Wire and the way that you witness the story through the eyes of everyone involved. He has brought the same direct and frank openness to this series. Excellent all around. It reminds me of a smarter modern Band of Brothers (speaking HBO series not Marines vs Army).

I've seen the first three. I really enjoy the humor envolved between the characters. If you enjoyed the first episode, you'll really enjoy the later episodes. Two and three have more suspense through the troops' actions in the Middle East.

The show is about to wrap up, and I have been enjoyed sitting down to watch an episode each week. The character interaction is solid and funny. The action is sprinkled in just enough so you don't get bored of all the dialog, and the action sequences are solid. Great min series.
