for me.. I would like to see "Show unread posts since last visit"
and "Show new replies to your posts".. I really like those two.. I know that you can see all the latest posts.. but still..

As of right now...I want there to not be a double message when someone "Connects" to me. I only need one message, not two.

there are no XBLA/Virtual Console/PSNG forums index..

how about open one channel or index for those things that people can talk about?

Just to let you know, Natalie and I and the rest of the admins here at TalkingAboutGames are still working on stuff, and will be for a while. Show New Posts was something suggested in beta, and we've been looking for solutions there. We *think* we've found something that'll do the trick for us. I'll let you know when we've got that in place.

Double Messages on Connections is definitely not normal behavior. I'll add that to our list of things to look into.

Game Parties folder is definitely needed, especially with everything we have going on. I'll make sure I add that in today.

As far as XBLA/Virtual Console/PSNG, in our mind those are part of their native consoles, and should be discussed in the Xbox 360/Wii/PS3 forums, respectively.

you know some games are going to be on both PSN and XBLA.. I dont see the points to create 2 threads about same game.. since its not a retail game and it wont be much big differents.. just a thought thou..

I agree with Spartan, except the glory hole part, lol. I would like to know how to customize my profile more. Is there going to be a problem with having large sigs like there was on AJ??

We are going to put a limit on what you can and can't use in your sig. We'll probably allow small gamertag bars, but not massive images. That's still under discussion. Right now, we are more focused on making sure everything is usable before we start restricting things.

a way to set your time zone would be nice

So this isn't a wishlist thing, just something I noticed when really looking around.
Now there is the bar on the bottom telling you who is online (users and guests). If you look on the side bar to the right, there is a catagory telling you who is online as well. I was thinking that maybe we don't need two places on the same page to veiw what is on. Just a thought really.

Just curious, but did the relocating the AJ forums to here not work out or is it still on the way?

We're still working, things are going to start changing throughout the day. I've already talked to Natalie, and she's rolling up her sleeves and getting to work.

Regarding time zones, that's a function within the forum software that, unfortunately, isn't currently user-configurable. That said, the developers of the software know it's a big thing, and they're supposed to look at that for the next software update.

Duplicate Who's Online, good catch. I'll put that on The List... right after I dig through The List and find Natalie.

Movies/TV forum... everyone, please let us know your feedback on that, whether you're for or against it.

The AJ forum user list, we're still looking at that. Although we were only pulling over the usernames and passwords from the site, the big problem with that is that the transition involves going from one software package to another. That's not terribly easy, and although we had a good chunk of lead time on it, we ran into some problems. We're still evaluating some potential solutions for it, but haven't made any final decisions on it yet.

I'll look into Polls and see what's going on and what we can do.

The important thing is, we know the AJ users want to get started. So please, feel free to create an account, even if you had one on AJ and were waiting for the database transfer. We're not going to ask anyone to wait on us, especially when we have these nice shiny forums to use. And if/when we do the database implementation, we'll work around you. You won't need to work around us.

Keep the constructive feedback coming. I can't promise we'll be able to meet every single request, but we are listening to *everything*.
