Day four wraps up our E3 coverage, as the (former) biggest event in the gaming industry closes its doors and we start winding down.
Today was spent with lots of hands on time with games we hadn't yet seen. Our E3 finale day was spent with such highly anticipated titles as Left 4 Dead, Lego Batman, Project Origin, Resistance 2, Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Halo Wars, and Lips.
We also give you a wrap up on all things E3, including our Game of the Show, the studios that impressed us most, and the games that let us down.
Thank you again for your support during this week of E3. We'll be bringing you our Hands On game impressions and write ups over the course of the weekend. And if you have any questions or comments, please email us at

It's Day Three of our time here at E3, and today we got to focus on the one thing we were most excited about: The games!
Almost our entire day was spent with hands-on time of quite a few big games, including LittleBigPlanet, PixelJunk Eden, Animal Crossing Wii, Too Human, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Fable 2, Fallout 3, and more.
A few games let us down, but one of them was the clear hands down winner for us, by far. We talk about our time with the games we played, and which ones will be worth your time and money.
Thank you again for your support. If you enjoy our show, please take a few second and leave us a review on iTunes. And if you have any questions or comments, please email us at

We're back again from Sunny California to bring you another episode of UncleGamer Radio!
OK, sort of. Due to circumstances beyond our control, Parris was unable to record the full show tonight. Instead, we're bringing you a series of recordings we made during our car trips throughout the day. These clips were taken as we were either driving to a press conference, or just leaving a press conference. Or both. Joining us in the car were Godfree from Gamertag Radio and Rodsmack from The10K Club.
We talk about our predictions for upcoming press conferences, then follow it up with our reactions once the press conferences were done. Who was the heavy hitter? You might be surprised what we think about certain games.
There's a little more cursing in the episode than normal, due to our sleep deprivation.

This week, UncleGamer Radio is coming at you straight from Los Angeles, California, where the Who's Who of gaming gather to show off their big and small games for the rest of the year, and into 2009.
This week began with a press conference from both Microsoft and Electronic Arts. One impressed, one didn't. But which is which? And who likes what?
We talk about what we saw with the big Xbox announcements, the big reveals on games like Gears of War 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, and lots more.

We're kicking off the Fourth of July week with a new episode of UncleGamer Radio, with a few surprises!
This week, we're featuring an interview with Barry Caudill, executive producer behind the forthcoming Civilization Revolution. After we've been raving about the game for the past few weeks, we go directly to the source to find out what went into making this game, and what's next for the Civilization series.
But it doesn't stop there. We talk about the forthcoming Xbox 360 price cut, the PlayStation video store, and what's coming up for Talking About Games during the week of E3.

Welcome back to another fun filled edition of UncleGamer Radio, now with 50% less asbestos.
On this week's show, we talk about the recent Call of Duty: World at War teaser trailer (it's really good) and Infinity Ward's rumored sci-fi shooter (seriously, did they listen to our show last week?). We also talk about Itagaki getting slapped with a gag order, Nintendo's big announcement about their big games for E3, and the upcoming 2.4 firmware for the PlayStation 3, which will bring in-game Cross Media Bar support.

Got the Monday blues? UncleGamer is back this week with another dose of gaming discussion.
It was an interesting week in gaming, with the initial details on Call of Duty 5 (and Jay's surprising admission about it), a fresh look at Resistance 2's gameplay footage, and a bunch of Square-Enix news.
We also talk about your feedback from last week's Afrika discussion.

Parris and Jay are back in front of the microphone this week with UncleGamer Radio, and boy, what a week this has been.
First, we have news on Itagaki leaving Tecmo and suing them, followed by LucasArts laying people off left and right. As if that weren't bad enough, the downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV is being delayed for a few extra months. And to top it off, Sony announces their plans for in-game advertising, and offers a new for-pay content method. And sure, we talk about about all those topics.
But the big ticket item this week is Afrika. No longer just an E3 trailer, the game was properly unveiled by Sony earlier this week. The real surprise, though, is what Parris has to say about it.
Are you looking forward to Afrika? Do you have something to say about Itagaki leaving Tecmo? Do you have comments for us?? Send us a note at

UncleGamer is bringing you a special episode this week, with a special interview from last week's Activision event. We sit down and talk to Will Townsend, Associate Producer at Red Octane, about Guitar Hero: On Tour. This latest entry in the franchise is a bit of a switch up, as it introduces the Guitar Hero concept to the Nintendo DS, a system not really known for its technical horsepower.
Is GH: On Tour worth the time? What kind of ideas went into the game? And what's Will's favorite Star Wars movie? Listen to our interview for a quick 'look' at the game.
We hope you enjoy this special interview. If you have any comments or thoughts, please send us an email at
