The basic idea here is pretty exciting. Finally, we get a chance to play as the evil apprentice of Darth Vader, destroying everyone and everything in our path. We’re unstoppably powerful, and we know it. How cool is that?!

The last two weeks have been MURDER for us. See, we've actually played Call of Duty: World at War, and while we're dying to talk to you about it, a press embargo has our lips sealed.
We're planning a big blowout of Call of Duty: World at War news and previews for you tomorrow, with four different previews being offered up (no, we're not kidding). While we get back to our furious typing, here's the latest gameplay trailer for the upcoming shooter from Treyarch. It features cool stuff like flammable objects and buildings exploding, two key ingredients for awesome carnage.
Blizzard has always done a great job with their cinematic sequences. Even if you are not into the game, you can usually find some redemptive quality with the cinematic sequences. So when I saw that the opening cinematic was online for the next World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, I naturally had to see it. Simply put, this video is amazing.
The video begins with the re-incarnated Lich King, sitting on his frozen throne. He then proceeds to summon a dragon from the frozen tundra on which his throne rests. There’s a sly subtlety to the voice over from Arthas’ father, who provides a polar (pun intended) opposite description of him. The trailer is beautiful and really can’t be put into words. Even for a person like me who has never played World of Warcraft, this is impressive.
Creepy nurses, demonic babies, spooky kids and pyramid head guys. Welcome back to Silent Hill. Don't bother booking a round-trip flight, you may not make it home alive. This new trailer features all new in game footage, a few new characters including a creepy young boy and everyone's friendly neighborhood pyramid head.
Rejoice all you fanatic Wii lovers, its time to dust of that Wii Zapper! Blood-thirsty zombies are headed your way courtesy of Sega and Headstrong Games. The trailer is very sweet and definitely reminds me of a certain Quentin Tarantino movie. Enjoy the video in all of its bloody goodness.
Pack your bags, we're going to Africa! Let's just hope we make it back alive.
Wow, from the look of things Chris and Sheva had better stock up on those red and green herbs. This new trailer for Resident Evil 5 features some exciting new environments and frantic gameplay. New characters and monsters are shown as well. This game looks beautiful. Resident Evil 5 looks like it will set the bar on the Survival Horror/Action genres when it releases on March 13 next year.
Boy, those Gary Busey trailers for Saints Row 2 were pretty darn crazy, weren’t they? They made you wonder exactly how crazy this man had become and how crazy the game would be. Then came the release of Grand Theft Auto 4, and you probably realized that this game would have to be truly insane to beat its competition.
Well, in this newest trailer for Saints Row 2, we have no Uncle Gary, nor do we have any real “insanity”. Instead we get a bit of the story as it seems the Saints are trying to reclaim what was once theirs. In this world of drugs, crime and guys in Wiener suits, they attempt overthrow the “Sons of Samedi” in their quest to become the biggest supplier of drugs in Stilwater. So, don’t think of it as Grand Theft Auto; think of it as Grand Theft Auto’s cousin who has all those medications they need to take hourly. The game will be released October 14.
Ok, ok...in all fairness, the last trailer (and first, as luck would have it) for Raven and id Software's upcoming Wolfenstein received nothing but a "thumbs up" as well. Just enough mystery combined with glimpses at new and improved versions of things we all loved was enough to get me excited all over again. You?
Here now we have trailer number two, straight out of QuakeCon 2008. Is there any word to describe the level of awesome in here? None that I can think of. Nazis. Supernatural weapons. Badass graphics. Here's looking forward to 2009.
After Grand Theft Auto IV and seeing what the RAGE technology was [fully] capable of, what is Rockstar Games going to do to follow up to their masterpiece? Take it back to the streets with a new Midnight Club, and head to Los Angeles, of course.
As you can see in this new trailer, the game is pretty. Damn pretty. After what they pulled off with Dub Edition, was that really any thing to worry about? After a brief hands-on with the game at E3, the level of detail is insane, truly; and it's a crazy thing to race at 150MPH and over through the streets of LA....all while thinking you're really there. Handling is top notch and I'm interested to see where they take the "story" from here. Midnight Club: Los Angeleshit stores on October 7th.
