I honestly cannot think of any more descriptors to describe GameSpot's current state, other than buffoonish. We all are well aware of the absurdity that was Gerstmann-gate, and that that lead to at least four other long-time members of the GameSpot crew packing up shop. HotSpot co-host and staff writer,Vinny Caravella, is now the latest C|Net employee to be quitting his position at the troubled media outlet.

Unlike the previous exoduses, though (where the staffers' immediate plans were, for the most part, put on the table for us), we've not the slightest clue what our friend Vinny is up to. Where's he going? What's he gonna do when he gets there? Who knows, but I do wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Damnit, that was the one. Brad was cool but Vinny was the last reason I tuned into Gamespot's podcast. I will try one more after he is gone but I think I'm done.

I find this HIGHLY probable since Vinny announced his departure and in this week's Bombcast, they mentioned needing "more desks and places for people to sit." or something to that effect. Sounds great to me. All the guys I liked from GS have now moved to Bombcast leaving the dead weight and meatheads behind.
