Review: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
The basic idea here is pretty exciting. Finally, we get a chance to play as the evil apprentice of Darth Vader, destroying everyone and everything in our path. We’re unstoppably powerful, and we know it. How cool is that?!

Well, if there was any doubt that those Banjo screenshots from earlier were faked, we've got more fuel to help you combat that notion. Up right now are SEVEN screenshots of Viva Pinata 2, a game that's not officially announced yet but which is expected to be unveiled at the Spring Showcase on Tuesday. Each of these seven screenshots lets you click through to a larger version, and you'll definitely want to take a look at the higher res versions. There are hints at multiplayer in some of the screenshots, albeit VERY subtle hints.
Viva Pinata 2 is expected to be developed by Rare and our news is that the game is due out towards the end of the year. A current theory is that this will be the second game to utilize that Newton controller, but of course, nothing is confirmed at this point.
More Viva Pinata 2 screenshots after the jump. We've also got a SLEW of Banjo-Kazooie shots coming up here in a few minutes. Give us time to do our editing mojo, there are about a dozen of them.
Update: If you'd like to save yourself the clicks and just grab all of the higher res shots at once for your browsing perusal, you can grab the ZIP file here.
Viva was a really fun game, but the limited number of things you could have in your garden was a bit disappointing. Looking forward to this AND the DS game... when is that going to surface!?
I'm very excited for this as well. And the more I think about it, the more I think that using the Newton controller in a game like this would make TOTAL sense. It would integrate so easily.
I know how you feel. But I wouldn't be surprised....the DS version is going to print money, and since they can't patch waggle into the first game...why leave money on the table?
