Tomorrow we'll get fresh hands-on impressions of Lionhead Studios' long-awaited Fable 2. The RPG that will supposedly "do everything for you that you could ever imagine" is set to wow the gaming public when it's made playable for the first time.
Microsoft will be dumping a bunch of official words and images about the title come 8am, but we've got a handful of brand new screens and some new details right now. According to some folks that were privy to a private showing of the title a few weeks ago, the mini-map has been axed, replaced by a "bread crumb trail" GPS system that glows golden on the ground, showing you where to go. A total of eight different magical spells, each with five varying levels of power will be included.
Every single residence that you see in the game world can be bought and occupied by you and your family. Each will apparently unlock new quests, or items that you can use. Dynamic weather and seasons are in place, and the overworld is roughly 20-30 times larger than that of Fable 1. Last but not least, it seems Peter and the Lionhead guys have plans for three more Fable titles someday in the future. Hmm, what could the recently axed Black & White team be up to?
Oh and yup, in case you were wondering, that's some damn gorgeous lighting and textures pictured right up there. Hit the jump for the full gallery.
