Wow. We knew the game was coming this year, but we had no idea that it was so SOON! Microsoft's Gamerscore Blog has now confirmed that the first episode of the Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will release on May 21st for the Xbox Live Arcade.
Developed by Hothead Games, Penny Arcade Adventures is an RPG being released in episodic form, similar to the Sam & Max games, and is being developed in conjunction with Mike 'Gabe' Krahulik and Jerry 'Tycho' Holkins as co-creators.
No official information is being offered yet on pricing, but we should know more about that soon. The game is being demo'ed at the Spring Showcase today, and we'll have hands on impressions in this week's UncleGamer Radio podcast.
