Disappointed when you tried to place your order for that awesome looking gunmetal grey Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3 bundle yesterday? Yeah, I would have been, too. But, no one could be more disappointed than our European friends on the matter - that's impossible. Why? Well, probably because the "super" Limited Edition console isn't being released in Europe, for starters.
Konami confirmed this morning (a bit late, no?) that the only MGS4 bundles being released in Europe are the default Sony Computer Entertainment ones that were announced previously - containing an 80GB console, DualShock 3 (SIXAXIS for Europe) and a standard copy of the game - and a bundle that was announced to have a behind-the-scenes disc, LE copy of the game and a Solid Snake figurine. What a shame. Them's the breaks, I guess. At least you'll save some money...right?
[Update]: "Whoops" are in order for either GameSpot or Konami, as someone didn't get the whole story out there. Play.com has just revealed that they are apparently getting the "exclusive" rights to distributing the gunmetal grey PS3 for European release on June 12th. That's a pretty big clashing of info compared to what was previously reported. Konami: 'sup?
