E3 2008 - Day One

This week, UncleGamer Radio is coming at you straight from Los Angeles, California, where the Who's Who of gaming gather to show off their big and small games for the rest of the year, and into 2009.

This week began with a press conference from both Microsoft and Electronic Arts.  One impressed, one didn't.  But which is which?  And who likes what?

We talk about what we saw with the big Xbox announcements, the big reveals on games like Gears of War 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, and lots more.

Thank you again for your support.  If you enjoy our show, please take a few second and leave us a review on iTunes. And if you have any questions or comments, please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and let us know what you think!

Just listening now to it....

something that stuck out to me was jay complaining about the scene it new game. IIRC, and I am 100% of one of the 2 complaints, that the game developer never said DLC or live play was happening with last years game. They clearly stated that would be available in the next game, which it seems like it would. They said that it wasn't built into the first game, which made no sense, as they had announced it shortly after the E3 announcement of the game. I had always been mildly interested in the game, so I was paying attention to the news stories about it. I think it might have been john davidson talking about it on the 1up podcast shortly after/or during E3 last year.
