E3 2008: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars announced |

At today's Nintendo press conference, it was announced that Rockstar and Take Two would be bringing a new chapter in the Grand Theft Auto series to the Nintendo DS, entitled Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
Very few details were highlighted, but we are assured that the game will take place in a modern-day Liberty City. Also, Rockstar is developing a brand new, custom game engine for the title. It was also stated that the game will incorporate brand new characters into the franchise. That means no more Niko Bellic. Darn...
GTA: Chinatown Wars is scheduled to be released this Winter. We'll have to see if that means late 2008, or early 2009.
