Been looking for a way to get into the elusive PlayStation Home beta, but haven't been willing to sell your soul for it?  Sony feels you.  So they're going to make it easy for you to get a chance at beta access, with a quick and painless way for registering for beta access.

Later today, following the PlayStation Store update, a new (and free) PlayStation Home theme is being made available.  Download and use the theme pack, and you're entered for a chance into the Home beta.  Yep, it's that simple!  Downloading the theme pack is all it takes to register yourself.

... well, at least, it's simple if you use your PlayStation 3 regularly.  Sony is targetting players that are frequent users of the PlayStation Network to be a part of this beta, so if you're a Johnny-Come-Lately when it comes to the PS3, you might be out of luck.  But hey, why not grab that theme anyway?  It's worth a shot.
