As with their forthcoming God of War PSP, shortly after announcing it today, Sony released the images of the upcoming bundle for Metal Gear Solid 4.

To be honest, it's really nothing spectacular in terms of features, considering it is your standard 80GB PS3 (with backwards compatibility!) a copy of the game, and the new DualShock 3; but damn if it isn't a nice looking box. A bit on the plain side, but Snake's a stealthy guy, so that's how he rolls. The bundle will retail for US $499.99, once it hits in June.

A deal? Just barely I suppose. A $399 USD system, a $60 USD game, and a controller that, let's face it, they'll ultimately be switching to in the end anyway. I sold my PS3 because of the lack of games, and maybe I'll pick up another someday, but not because of this bundle. The game looks amazing, but it's still not a seller for me.
