I don't know about you, but I can't believe it's been 20 years since the first Madden game.  I didn't play that initial vision of games to come, as it would be another 4 years before getting trounced by my roommate in my freshman residence hall room.  Ahh, even to this...

Talking About Games is pleased to give away a copy of SOCOM: Tactical Strike for the PlayStation Portable.  The game's a unique blend of shooter mechanics and real-time strategy gameplay, giving it a very unique flavor.  It's like Advance Wars, but the guns don't make pretty explosions.

So, how do you win?  Just leave a reply to this post telling us why you love your PSP.  Are you a fan of the unique games, like Loco Roco and Patapon?  Are you one of the few people that has a massive UMD collection?  Do you like using the device for its remote media capabilities?  Either way, just tell us!  You've got until Thursday, April 10th at 3pm Pacific Time to get your entry in.  After that, we'll be randomly selecting a winner from the list of entries.

You must be a resident of the United States in order to enter, and be sure to read our contest rules before posting an entry.  Good luck!

I love my PSP because it integrates so well with the PS3, is an excellent media viewer/web surfer/skype phone, and is still improving (Internet Radio, Blu-Ray transfer for portable viewing). Oh, and the quality/style of game is much better for me than the DS's selection of games.

I love my PSP because it makes my laundramat time more enjoyable. Time really flies by when you are having fun. Plus the games are easy to pick up and play. It is quite fun to just play for half an hour or so.

I actually just got a PSP and I am really enjoying it. I am happy with the way it connects to the PS3 and Ratchet and Clank is perfect on the system. I like it a whole lot better than the DS actually.

4 GB memory card with all my favorite Office episodes on it, plus movies compressed in .mp4, make me very happy during breaks at work or when im winding down trying to get to sleep. Lets see the DS do that. OH yeah, plus I love Hot shots Golf.

I love my PSP cause I'm a sucker for "Eye Candy!" I've never seen graphics like the PSP on a small handheld. The fact that I can play "Serious Madden" on it is reason enough but to kick back with a GOOD looking movie or music too?

I love my PSP because the screen and video quality is awesome! Really makes me fell like I'm playing a PS2 type console game. Also has some pretty cool multimedia features. I need to try hooking it up with my PS3, but haven't yet...

Patapon, God of War, Metal Gear, Ridge Racer, Ratchet & Clank, Lumines, Lumines II, WipEout Pure save my sanity on my commute to work. I brought mine about 2 years ago and it was money well spent. I can watch movies that I put on then 1GB memory stick, but I picked up a 4GB and that was also money well spent.
I pack it up when I travel out of town so just in case I stuck in an airport or at some other boring place I can enjoy movies and games then. PSP a must for work commute sanity.
