A clever, curious PS3 user has found some very interesting information on the PlayStation Network: A downloadable and installable build for PlayStation Home. It's not yet available for download 'in the wild', but with a few XML hacks, you can pull down the client.
The caveat (well, aside from the whole 'is this wrong?' moral dilemma) is that although the Home package can be downloaded and installed, you can't actually use the software to connect to the Home servers.
What's most interesting is that the version build number is at 1.00, which signifies this might actually be the release build. Rumors continue to filter in that PlayStation Home is being made available as part of the April 17th PlayStation Store & firmware updates, either as a final build or an open beta program, and this information lends some additional weight to those rumors. The question of "When" is the one thing people want to know the most about PlayStation Home. It looks like an answer may not be far off.
