How could a game like Secret Agent Clank, which should have been a total GIMME of a release,  turn into... this? This hodgepodge of minigames, poorly implemented concepts, and rambling story that ends up feeling like the worst game in the Ratchet & Clank...

Nintendo Channel coming stateside with WiiWare launch PDF Print E-mail

Big N has announced, via Wired, that the Nintendo Channel will be coming to stateside Wii consoles as part of the WiiWare launch on May 12th.  A subsequent launch in Europe is slated for May 30th.

What The Hell is the Nintendo Channel, you ask?  It's Nintendo's central hub for all things Nintendo.  The Japanese version has seen some pretty neat content, including video interviews with Nintendo bigwigs and developers, previews of games, and things of that nature.  You'll also be able to review WiiWare titles, once you've played them for at least an hour.

And that Nintendo DS connectivity they've been touting for a while?  The Nintendo Channel will let you download demos for Nintendo DS games, which will wirelessly port into your DS, much like Nintendo DS demo kiosks at your local game retailer.  Downloaded demos can be played on the DS until you power down, giving you a chance to get a taste of current and upcoming portable titles without paying for them.   Shiny!
