Let the hype train for Resistance 2 begin selling advanced tickets, it's going to fill up quickly. We've seen the [horrid quality] alpha build gameplay video, and now Sony and Insomniac have released the first "official" screens for the new game. Taken from the online multiplayer portion (yes, multiplayer does look that good. Just wait for single player!), we see that the outdoor forest environment looks eerily familiar to something that isn't looking like it'll see the light of day anytime soon.
Insomniac is quick to point out that most of the art assets, character models and animations currently in place are recycled from the first Resistance. You see, the new and shiny stuff has yet to be plugged into the code. Remember folks, this game doesn't release until November - that's six whole months from now. Take that, fanboys looking to quabble about texture resolution.
