Well zombie fans, Valve came ready to please and surprised us all with a teaser for the sequel to their hit title Left 4 Dead, just a little while ago during the Microsoft E3 press conference. It would seem that Valve is learning from the original title and preparing to get everything just right with this release. The game has an announced release date of November 17, 2009.
Here is a list of all the features announced:
- New Melee weapons. Chainsaws, axes, frying pans, etc.
- Four different survivors, new story, new dialogue
- Will feature more cooperative campaigns, more campaigns, and more versus campaigns than the original Left 4 Dead at launch time
- Survivor mode makes a return
- Stats, awards, and rankings system will help drive collaborative teamwork
- Will take place in the southeastern US. Savannah, Georgia to New Orleans.
I'm drooling for this game already. If it is anything at all like the original, I can almost guarantee that it will be a massive hit. So sit back, hone that survival mode time a little bit and prepare for more information on this highly anticipated title in the future.
