This week's unveiling of the cooperative and competitive multiplayer offerings in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has left many of us with an appetite for information on the upcoming online modes.
Knowing this, PlayStation.Blog cornered Naughty Dog game designer Justin Richmond and got a little more information on the game. Justin talks about the big changes that arise from taking a solid single player game and morphing it for an online audience, while still maintaining the charm of the original game.
Justin also goes into detail about the melee functionality in multiplayer (yes, it's improved), destructible objects in the environment, and the natural changes and enhancements in making the cooperative mode. In the last 30 seconds, he also gives you some juicy information about the metagame functionality, which lets you unlock items and stat bonuses in exchange for the treasure you collect.
If you're in any way interested in Uncharted 2, this video is a Must See.
Pretty straight forward, this one. Here's the first gameplay for EA's The Godfather II, due out in February. Right off the bat, it's pretty clear that visuals have been cleaned up from the original, scope and scale are now much more important (as is, hopefully, character development) and combat improved. Who doesn't want to be a 60's gangster?
I'm still not sold on "The Don's View" gimmick that turns the game into a quasi-RTS, but we'll have to wait and see. Thoughts? EA's trying to make you an offer you can't refuse (or at the very least, an offer to replace your copy of GTA IV), will you bite?

poorly rehearsed content, gaming wives, and Inside Xbox in Australia.

Re: Game Night Done right on PS3 - fds nucklehead - Wow! Really valid points from both sides. One thing is for certain though, my friends list for both consoles is full of top notch gamers & I owe that to the TAG community.
